Committed to Employee Health & Wellness
Our people are our most valuable resource, so Monarch has always placed the highest priority on creating a safe and healthy work environment, which, in turn, has a significant positive impact on the well-being of our surrounding communities.
On-Site Medical Care
Monarch is committed to the health and well-being of our employees, which extends to the health of our surrounding communities. We’re pleased to offer an on-site medical clinic that provides health care services to our employees and their families, free of charge. Staffed by a nurse practitioner and a registered nurse, the high-efficiency facility includes two exam rooms and offers a wide range of primary and preventive care.
The medical providers focus on encouraging exercise, healthy lifestyle choices and safe workplace practices. Employees can also take advantage of an annual assessment, including recommendations on the best ways to improve their health. This allows our employees to identify potential health issues early so they can be addressed before they become larger problems.
For more information, contact the clinic at 620-473-2222, Ext. 208. The clinic is open Monday from 2 – 6 p.m.; Wednesday from 10 a.m. – noon, and 1 to 5 p.m.; and Friday from 7:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Monarch Honored by Governor’s Council on Fitness

Monarch HealthWorks
To improve the lives of the Company’s most valuable asset – and to make healthy living not only our philosophy but an integral part of our culture – Monarch formed a wellness committee in 2015 and charged its members with developing a comprehensive wellness program to encourage healthy behavior. Today, Monarch HealthWorks serves to promote a healthy workplace and inspire all employees to make good choices that enhance health and well-being.
With such activities as healthy eating workshops, flu shot campaigns, stretching programs and walking challenges, the voluntary wellness program also helps employees adopt healthier eating habits and encourages regular medical checkups for preventive care. Monarch also hosts a Facebook group employees can join that allows them to share success stories, pass along helpful information, and serve as a source of support for others.
